Hello! I’m Kerrigan Harris, the owner and trainer here at Statera Obedience. Our approach to training is unique. While we have our own methods, our programs are designed to cater to your dogs personality and way of learning. We recognize that all dogs and owners are different. In order to achieve lifelong bonds and obedience we have to learn to communicate with our dogs in a way that fosters respect and love. If I had to describe our goal at Statera with one word, it would be balance. In fact, Statera is Latin for balance. We acknowledge that there should be an alpha in the pack, and to create this you must have a solid relationship with your dog that cultivates that balance. This requires trust, respect, and obedience. We, just like you, love our furry friends and want to create the best life for them both physically and mentally.

Our services are designed around you and your dog
7-Day Train and Board
Our 7-Day Train and Board program was created to help start training, correct unwanted behaviors and put your dog on the road to success. Dogs are placed in a calm environment to learn, but will have real life distractions to ensure that the training is solid. Your dog will receive multiple training sessions each day, as well as lots of play time and time for rest. In training, consistency is key. We put in the hard work so you don’t have to.

Can’t let your dog go for a week? Or maybe don’t want to? That’s okay! We offer one-on-one private sessions. These are fantastic if you are having minimal trouble with your pooch or maybe just one big issue. You may also want to consider these sessions if you have a puppy that’s not quite old enough for intensive training, but needs to get started in the right direction with boundaries and guidance.

Boarding
Statera doesn’t just offer training! Our expanded facilities are open for boarding as well. While you are relaxing on a beach or moving out of a house, your dog will be enjoying the country life. We provide outdoor kennels throughout the day for fresh air, play time with or without other dogs, and a nice cozy spot inside for night time.

When are private sessions available?
1hr prive sessions are available Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following times:
- 8:00AM–9:00AM
- 9:30AM–10:30AM
- 11:00AM–12:00PM
- 1:30PM–2:30PM
- 3:00PM–4:00PM
- 4:30PM–5:30PM
- 6:00PM–7:00PM
How do I schedule boarding dates?
Since everyone's schedules are different, our boarding services are designed to be flexible. Just call us with your travel dates and we'll be waiting with open arms.
And, don't worry, if your plans change and your pup needs to stay a bit longer, just let us know!
When do 7-Day Train and Board sessions begin?
These sessions are meant to work with you and your dog's busy schedules. Just decide what day you want your dog's week away to begin and add 7 days from there.

Payment for private sessions and zoom calls will be collected after the training is complete. We'll send you an invoice with all of the payment details.
A deposit for 7-Day Train and Board sessions as well as boarding services will be collected once your appointment is booked. The rest of the payment will be collected at the end of your dog's time with us.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Here at Statera the health of our personal pets and visitors are our number one priority. We ask that all incoming friends are
up-to-date on their vaccinations. We love meeting new paws and providing the most fun and safe environment for everyone.
Can I schedule a free consultation?
Absolutely! We highly encourage your first step to be scheduling a free consultation. We want to meet you and your dog and make sure we are a good fit.
